I know what you mean, but you have to know that Amaterasu doesn't come out From his Eye, Its just that he use his eye to summon it, so there is no physical Contact between them.

It takes a big tool on him physically and in his chacra reserves to use amaterasu.. Also the constant use of it make him go blind.
