Itachi's Abilities on a whole different level

Hey Guys...
I just had a doubt about Itachi's abilities , that if his genjutsu...specially Tsukiyomi worked like IT i.e with reflection phenomenon or just a look into his eyes...and if look into his eyes would it work directly or reflection would do?
My point is Me and my Friend had an argument yesterday that if Itachi's genjutsu would work by reflections in the mirror and Ice like of haku's? If it did dont you think Itachi could've been way much stronger?

It worked by eye contact, so yes he can look into a mirror and get eye contact with you and you will be in genjutsu.

i don't think it works by reflection... i don't remember correctly but in their 1st encounter, i think kakashi said something about using water reflection to look at itachi...

Specifically, looking at Medusa by using the reflection of a shield protected Perseus from being turned to stone since he wasn't looking directly at her. It was a loophole to her power.

It was Gai. He said that he was going to use the reflection on the water to look at his feet and main movements only. He never said he'd be looking at his eyes in the reflection.

No, he just told Bee to avoid looking at his eyes. The word directly was not present in the text.

ot: There's no reason as to why it shouldn't, so yes. A reflection of Itachi's MS is still capable of emitting genjutsu.
