Okay, but from my memory what I remember reading was that Danzo used Izanagi to warp reality and make it into a Genjutsu, so that a killing blow would have no effect on him. I don't think it had anything to do with reviving.
As for the revive himself so it's as if he didn't use Izanagi, I don't remember reading that as well.
