"The dream that Itachi aimed for. His dream: A Hokage from the Uchiha Clan" - Itachi Shin-den description.

While reading the first chapter of Itachi Shin-den, I couldn't help but notice several similarities between Itachi and Sarada. Both awakened the Sharingan in a similar way, have critical thinking habits and are very clever since a young age.

Itachi and Sarada do share the same dream, which is to be a Hokage from the Uchiha clan. Not only that, but she also inherited all of Itachi's solo swag and genjutsu affinity, as we've seen before:

Itachi couldn't achieve his dream to become the first Uchiha hokage, but I'm pretty sure that the Uchiha princess, Sarada, is the new Solo Goddess who will become the first Uchiha Hokage.

She's definitely a younger Itachi, but not the prodigy. Now, I'll go further, after reading the novel, I think the bromance between the fathers set the stage for the romance between Sasuke/Naruto kids.

"Itachi X Sarada"
You're into some kinky stuff huh :Sparks:
Not really, that didn't even crossed my mind, lol.

every uchiha wanted to be hokage lol
Yeah, but not in a good way. Most of them just wanted to be Hokage because of their own narcissism or because of the power that it implies. Even Obito ****ed it up in the end. Only Itachi was supposed to be the true Uchiha Hokage.

I can definitely see some common traits between Itachi and Sarada, but there are honestly more differences:

1) Itachi apparently had adult reasoning when he was 4, thought like a Hokage at 7. It took Sarada 12 years to even question what she was studying at the academy.

2) Itachi was never confused and misdirected, as far as we know. Sarada is (well, was) the total opposite of that, what with her being unsure and insecure about her parents.

3) Itachi never let emotion rule him. Sarada did, as she immediately left the village to look for her father and got extremely angry when she thought Sakura wasn't her mother.

4) Very different personalities. Sarada is much more similar to Sakura than either Itachi or Sasuke, tbh.

Where did the ''genjutsu affinity'' come from, by the way? I don't remember ''genjutsu'' even being used in the same sentence as Sarada.

I did want to provide your thread with an actual response though. By no definition would I compare Itachi and Sarada's thinking, at all. For example

This isn't critical thinking, she's complaining mostly. She doesn't understand the point of being a shinobi, she doesn't get it. At the same time she betlittles anyone else with the mentality of being one, even complaining about the word shinobi; "All I hear echoching around me is ninja, ninja, ninja so goddamn annoying!"

Itachi would never utter those words, ever. In Boruto's movie, he questions the same thing Sarada asked herself in Gaiden Chapter 1: "What's the point of being a shinobi, what does it mean to be a shinobi?" but I hardly call that "critical thinking" when they aren't looking at the bigger picture. They are focusing on the meaning of shinobi, while Itachi was looking at it from a different viewpoint. He was already on Hokage level intellect at age 7. I hardly call these questions "Hokage level intellect" let alone "complex".

If your going by the Novel's definition, sure. But as far as the manga goes the only Uchiha who ever wanted to become the Hokage due to being inspired and having a dream was Obito Uchiha. The novel's aren't canon though.

Lastly, Sarada doesn't have a "Genjutsu affinity". The Sharingan is capable of piercing Genjutsu and Sarada used the "Kai release" to break out of the enemies technique. I'm not sure how that qualifies for Genjutsu affinity when any Uchiha with the Sharingan can do that, and any normal person who knows it's a Genjutsu.

I feel the same way imo.

Ambivalence, you have some good points there, but you're forgetting the fact that Itachi was on the third shinobi war battlefield when he was only 4 years old. That changed him a lot. It was when he decided that he wanted to change the shinobi world, after experiencing the horrors of a war.

After that moment, he never let his emotions carry him anymore, because he wanted to stick to what he had aimed for.

Sarada, in the other hand has never been through that. We'll probably never know how would she react if she had that kind of experience.

And yeah, she and Boruto didn't understood the meaning of being a shinobi because they are used to the times of calm and peace that they live in, but Gaiden and the Movie changed that. Sarada, through the whole movie, keeps saying that she wants to become a Hokage, this is clearly a sign that she did more than understand the meaning of being a shinobi. The same goes to Boruto, in the end, when he says that he wants to protect the village from the shadows.

For me Sarada kind of reminds me of Team 7 in a whole package. You know?

What would be icing on the cake if Sarada started reading the Icha Icha series man LMAO.

Yeah, I can see it that way too. She inherited the Uchiha swag from Sasuke and Sakura's fighting style, and personality traits from them both as well. From Naruto, I think she got the kind heart and the will to become Hokage.

lol thats true XD
