if she really did have a incredible jutsu up her sleeve, why didn't she use it against kabuto since she was definatly losing?

Itachi, unless she has something up her sleeve to fight against genjutsu, I mean it would only make sense.

I wouldn't say Danzou is/was stronger then Tsunade. The use of his Izanagi is the only edge he'd have. Izanagi is more defensive as it turns reality into fiction. He'd actually have to land some hits on her to make real dammage, and once his Izanagi ran out, plus most of his chakra, and the his inability to control Hashirama's cells anymore, he'd be a sitting duck for the most part. Not to mention he's old (we know Tsunade's rather old as well but not like Danzou, and I'm not downsizing Danzou because he's old only his physical abilities as seen with Hiruzen. After that peek in your age when you stop gaining and start loosing you're body begins to loose what it once had and you get weaker that's all I'm saying). I agree I wouldn't say hellish difficulty (I take it back) but he's going to have a hard time with her.
Whenever I see the word Tsukuyomi used in a statement like this I laugh because it sounds like nobody has any other excuse as to why that person would win. I hear it all the time in Itachi vs. Nagato threads and it's really annoying. Tsukuyomi's great but I'm damn sure Tsunade knows not to look that mofo in the eyes especially after seeing what happened to Kakashi. I also believe she is capable enough to fight him without looking into his eyes and combating, to an extent, his lesser genjutsu (which, again are all controled by his eyes with the exception of one technique. That's what it looks like anyway)
If she didn't have incredible jutsu why is she Hokage?
Damn people stop underestimating Tsunade. I know it's clear as day that Itachi can win this match up but don't say it'll be a walk in the park because it won't.

Tsunade when fighting Kabuto, hadn't fought like in what 15 years, after Dan (her lover) died.
So, do you really think she was going to be owning him like she would have if she kept up her training.
Even then when they were fighting Kabuto himself admitted that he would lose the battle with Tsunade because she was getting back into the game and would ultimately outlast her. That's why he spilled his blood on her, because he knew he would lose if their fight lasted any longer.
And you don't consider that Nerve attack which throws the Nervous system of an opponent, out of whack, an incredible jutsu. That's probably one of the most incredible medical jutsus out there. Kabuto broke of that due to his medical knowledge and his adaptability to certain situations, but any other person probably would not have. Tsunade probably would have finished him off while he was under the influence of her nerve attack, but he used his chakra scapel to inhibit her insane strength and she was trying to heal the damage that he did.

Dude itachi dont need eye contact he can use his body parts. He can even use Genjutsu with JUST a finger. He didnt even use a finger on this one >

So its safe to say Itachi can easily get just about everybody in his Genjutsu.

no? katsuyu can break tsunade out of a genjutsu. anyone with a summoning. jinchuuriki. partner, or anything can get out of a genjutsu and tsukyomi. its actualy very easy

Aside from Tsukuyomi and KA Genjutsu isn't an automatic win. Itachi excells in genjutsu but that's mainly because of the power that has been demonstrated with Tsukuyomi. As for the others, we've only seen another Sharingan possesser combat his other genjutsu aside from Tsukuyomi and we've seen Naruto affected by it, which isn't a judgement call on it's strength since Naruto is severly weak to genjutsu. Thank god he has the fox. Basically what I'm saying is. Sharingan genjutsu is combatable without the need for Sharingan aside from Tsukuyomi.
I'll say it again genjutsu doesn't mean an automatic win for Itachi unless it's Tsukuyomi which Tsunade could avoide by the eyes.
Also I just watch that little vid you posted (Subs were backwards but whatev) that was one of Itachi's dojutsu genjutsu. He was actually facing Orochimaru when he casted it, Itachi made it seem like he was caught but he wasn't. Itachi used the jutsu through eye contact.
