Adding Katsuyu does nothing.

Tsukuyomi and even KA aren't restricted.

As long as Itachi goes for Tsunade first, he can win and escape Katsuyu. Besides, 100% Katsuyu is of gigantic size, catching Itachi would be like trying to catch a fly.

Also, Itachi could just go for Tsunade first and one shot her with Tsukuyomi or Amaterasu. His main target is Tsunade, not the slug. Besides, Katsuyu's main role is to heal, thus there's no way she could do some damage to Itachi. Her acid can be easily negated by Susano'o or simply dodged/clone feinted.

I never claimed he can't. You were the one who called it fodder for no reason, when all summons are cow fodders before Amaterasu bar Manda, which can shed its skin.
