In real life fighting situations, please explain your reasons on why would Itachi's or Shikamaru's intelligence be better.

Also, which Shikamaru catchphrase do you feel captures his personality more ("Troublesome" in the Japanese or "What a drag" in the Eng.)? A MyAnimeList thread called "'Troublesome' or 'What a drag'" showed that 78 of 108 votes preferred "Troublesome".

I gotta say I like What a Drag better unless Troublesome has something else to it, like, Man this is too troublesome or something, just saying troublesome seems odd. "Oh I gotta fight this flute girl, troublesome" see it'd sound better if it'd say "Oh I gotta fight this flute girl, that's troublesome" or "how troublesome"

I'm asking if either Shikamaru's Japanese or English catchphrases fits his personality more and why would his or Itachi's intelligence be better in real life combat.

Itachi's intelligence is overall superior, Shikamaru's IQ might be better but Itachi is much more experienced And, has a very versatile move set that actually works well with his intelligence, Shikamaru is more support.

Shikamaru is smarter than Itachi. Always has been; always will be.
