Itachi vs Sasori

Here we go again with people underrating Sasori. All anyone can say is Itachi's on a whole other level then the rest of the akatsuki. I have news for some of you, this isn't DBZ. Naruto is all about matchups.

While one character may be stronger overall than the other that doesn't mean they would beat them in a fight.

Itachi has no way of avoiding Sasori's poison, his genjutsu is useless since Sasori is a puppet, amaterasu is useless for reasons stated by the op, so the only thing left is susanoo. I'm not even sure the totsuka sword would work since it seals the soul of the person, but Sasori's a puppet so I don't believe he has a soul. I know he has a heart.

I think Sasori can take this.

ok u say sasori is puppet and have no soul ? the how on earth kabuto manage to summon him via edo tensei ?

i do think that this match will be hard for itachi but with amaterasu he can immobilize most of sasori puppet and if itachi active his susano'o then he can use yasaka magatama to wreck the rest of sasori puppet, the totsuka sword will seal sasori END

his new body has none of the above stated things..

Its a last resort save your self thing, but its useless..

Which is why after itachi gets him out of hiruko, following up with a simple amaterasu will end this fight, and most other akatsuki members for that matter

Itachi is sick and somewhat blind.sasori is made out of wood ( infinate stamina ) ( has alot of chakra ). They are both amazing characters so its a 50/50, since itachi can't use genjutsu. Amutrasu would be nothing but a waste of chakra if he dosent use it properly. Susonno can be a very big advantage but itachi has to do it fast because it puts alot of starin on his eye's.

itachi = sasori
100 puppet = Susano

they both want to end thir meatch fast,

- itachi use sharingan to casst a genjutsu and finish his aponent if it not work he use mangyoku sharingan, not woking use him selv and if not working he use his final jutsu Susano.

- sasori use hiruku to finish his aponent quickly and if hiruku broke he use third kazekage, if third destroy he use him selv and his final jutsu 100 puppet.

- itachi has amaterus
- sasori has poison

they both use same type of fighting style

Well sealing of sasori shouldn't be tough now shud it??

I mean he cud get close to sasori's real body thn just use his blade....
Its big enuf to slice thru his entire body and not mss his heart.....
Or just amaterasu straight to hs heart taking he fact that ur situation includes that he knows about sasori's heart and things...

This in the situation where he has not resorted to his 100 puppet jutsu

And i wud also like to say that the location where he fought granny chiyo and sakura was quite advantageous as there was no way they cud hide themselves.....

Something like a forest may hav helped thm to reserve chakra by hiding during the initial part of the batlle when his poison attacks wer not so vicious

well for this to be a fair fight we hav to consider that itachi's eyes still hav some time before they go blind or start straining him unbearably and definetly exclude his terminal illness. But still evn with this i'd say itachi's super brain wud give him enuf edge to win the battle.

hmm just realized something, lets say during the onset of the match sasori summons absolutely all of his puppets. They are being held held in the air due to the chakra strands attached to them, even sasori's main one had propellers for flight. So if Itachi saw such a force coming at him he'd Amaterasu a good chunk of them couldn't sasori just throw these at Itachi thus turning his own tech against him. Being that all sasori needs is one chakra strand to hurl objects, he can effectively use the flames against Itachi too. Unless Itachi extinguishes them consuming even more of his chakra

Guys seriously are you saying that sakura and chiyo tag team can take on Itachi. even when kakashi and naruto barely did shit to 30% chakra itachi who was using someone else's body?

Plz guys when you compare itachi from now on compare him with ninjas who can match him like: nagato, madara, tobi, hashirama, etc....

welll it depends on knowledge
if sasori doesn't know about itachi abilities so he'll lose like deidara when he first met itachi
but if sasori knows about sharingan(MS) itachi will have a bad time(don't forget sasori killed all coountry+iron sand and the main weapon......poison)if itachi get poisoned so it'll be end for him in spite of that i'll go with itachi bcz i don't see sasori beating susanoo

Theres nothing that states genjutsu is useless against his self puppet, he has a mind of his own unless he's A.I controlled by konohamaru. Itachis an experienced uchiha, he wins.

i vote Sasori. Itachi mite be able to withstand the third Kazekage, but combined with Sasori's poison, and his hundred puppets, Itachi's f*cked. Sasori will be the victor, no if ands or buts...

Itachi/nagato strongest of akatsuki they win against every other akatsuki member except madara/tobi.

Itachi's not a god, stop overrating him soooooo much even if he is a genius.

In saying that though, Itachi might be able to win this, he's got Amaterasu to eliminate the puppets, the fire can move around from one puppet to another, plus, Goukakyu is still available, and ninjutsu, I say Itachi with high difficulty, although I think he will get hit by poison.

Sasori on the other hand is very fast and crafty, he's got the third Kazekage's power with him, which is a a great upside for him, although I think the 3rd kazekage would be either eliminated or paralyzed.

I don't think that Itachi could win this fight if he didn't know about Sasori, he may be a genius but it takes a lot of time t figure out the mystery behind Sasori. Itachi also has the Exploding Water Clone jutsu, which is very badass.

So once again, stop overrating Itachi!
