Itachi vs Sasori

I just realized that this would be an amazing fight..
Because sasori is a puppet. And it renders all genjutsu from itachi useless..

Amaterasu is useless because of the ability to switch from one puppet to another. Thanks to his one central point.

Susanoo cannot be used as an offense here, but as a very solid defense.
Totsuka sword would be useless. Unless it hit the core.

Tsukyomi doesn't work as he is a puppet.

Itachi has to resort to his base jutsus, in which he is amazing like any other ninjas.
The sharingan helps him to predict most if not all of sasori's movements.

Doesn't know the weaknesses of alot of his puppets though.

nah itachi, tobi , nagato, are on a tier above all the rest of akatsuki... Sasori's main body is where he holds the scrolls , and it has the compartment on his chest for 100 puppets, also the little propllor stuff to fly. if he switches bodies he loses all of that T.T

well in my opinion itachi would win because itachi may have more under his sleeves i think he would come up with a plan to win while he fights im not saying itachi is unbeatable because you never know if sasori is capable of opening a can of whoop ass upon itachi with his army of puppets but strategy wise itachi has it in a bag and would come up with an idea to hit sasori where it hurts... my opinion

NONE Of itachi's genjutsu would be of use.. which leaves only his little fire jutsu we've seen, ( im sure he had much more jutsu, he can copy techs after all, but can;t go on that)

While one character may be stronger overall than the other that doesn't mean they would beat them in a fight.

Itachi has no way of avoiding Sasori's poison, his genjutsu is useless since Sasori is a puppet, amaterasu is useless for reasons stated by the op, so the only thing left is susanoo. I'm not even sure the totsuka sword would work since it seals the soul of the person, but Sasori's a puppet so I don't believe he has a soul. I know he has a heart.

I think Sasori can take this.

Tobi first said its an uchiha forbidden technique , And that danzo used senju dna to EXTEND the time

You underestimate Itachis intelligence

My post had nothing to do with Itachi's intelligence. I know he's extremely smart, but all of his jutsu are practically useless against Sasori while Sasori has plenty of jutsu that are effective against Itachi.

And what does that have to do with my post? Sasori has poison that can cover a very large distance and his iron sand is very fast.
