Agreed. Now, more than ever Minato is more equipped to handle Genjutsu than Nagato is, but the same people who think Minato gets one shotted off the bat by Genjutsu believe Nagato wins? Sigh...

Nagato wins def mid at most. Itachi will have to resort to susanno if he doesn't want to get rag dolled by ST. Summons and projectiles from Asura path keep itachi distracted until he dies of chakra exhaustion.
Itachi wins, you can argue the rinnegan being superior to sharingan (which is true), but if you don't have
Uchiha blood running through your veins....
Tsukyomi literally no biased fanboy mindset one shot Nagato.
He has shown no ability to cancel out genjustu...
(So saying he breaks out of it is pointless)
His mobility is too slow
Itachi can also use crows at any range for his genjustu...
If so, he can use totsukya which has a remarkable speed and sealing properties.
People with mokuton, ftg, and Obito can avoid these attacks.

Nagato was master of Inton and Youton, and can use In'Youton. He in the age of 10 mastered Inton, which governs around Genjutsu. None of Itachi's Sharingan Genjutsu can pose threat to him, unless if its Tsukuyomi. Tsukuyomi deals with mind internal damage. Nagato can heal it with Asura's path, by replacing his head with another, making the damage vanish. All of Itachi's other arsenal, has no chance against Nagato.

but if the uchiha eye is a watered down version of the rinnegan, do the standard rules apply? it seams to me the standard rules dont apply to one who poses the eyes of the Sage Of Six Paths as they can use all six elements and could be considered the original eyes of power ahahaha, after all there would be no sharingan with out rinnegan.

No genjutsu counter-feat, it doesn't count. Orochimaru has 5/5 in genjutsu in the databook, still got caught by a kanashibari genjutsu
Scans where Asura is stated to heal? Nagato only has one brain. Asura only creates mechanical armors

1-Couldn't care about bullsh1t Databook stats as they don't coincide with Manga's production. As for feats, Inochi was warned to not be caught by Nagato's mind Genjutsu. And we have Jiraiya's statement, that Nagato was master of Genjutsu. He breaks all of them, bar Tsukuyomi.
2-Asura path creates new limbs and head as shown in Pain vs Kakashi. That considers as limb regeneration. Not healing. And Naraka path which can regenerate limbs as well. Tsukuyomi gets rendered useless.

Kishi is the one writing databooks and he is the one who gave the maximal score to Orochimaru in the category and he still got caught by a kanashibari genjutsu. Sakura is also known to be a genjutsu type according to Kakashi, yet she got caught by Kakashi's genjutsu simply because she lacked to skills to break out of it(kai release). Unlike Orochimaru or Sakura, Nagato wasn't put to test, he simply has no genjutsu counter feats, so by feats, he eats any genjutsu or tsukuyomi and he is finished
Meaningless when it can't create a new brain. He can even have thousand mechanical heads if he wants, he only has one brain, the organ in which genjutsu opertate. Creating more brains(something he even can't when he is already caught by genjutsu) would change nothing

He can't since there is none. Reason why i always laugh at their double standards. Minato even has better genjutsu counters than Nagato, yet it works on him because it's Minato. It doesn't work on Nagato however because it's Nagato. This thread was entertaining in the end. Just helped me to see how far the biased was
