if this finger genjutsu is so effective then why didnt itachi use it on nagato. he had the perfect opportunity. also why was the only person he caught in his finger genjutsu, naruto who was inexperienced in genjutsu and none of the other people who were looking at itachi got caught. this finger genjutsu isnt nearly as effective as people try to make it look.

nagato's a sensor, nagato knows WHEN will itachi use MS techniques. nagato has various counters on ALL of itachi's arsenal while itachi doesn't have much CHAKRA and JUTSU to counter ALL of nagato's technique.

in the end nagato's shear power will overwhelm puny itachi.

there is a huge advantage that stems from having more battle experience

example:

combine this advantage in battle experience with nagato having powers that are beyond itachis and anyone sees that nagato wins this.

he very well may have more jutsus. he hasnt shown them and i doubt they are on a level beyond his mangekyou sharingan powers. thats just more jutsus that itachi has that wont work on nagato.

i dont underrate itachi. he in the top ten strongest characters but he is no where near the strongest.
