Actually I think Kishi was more or less getting at the point that it required all 3 of them inorder to take down Nagato.

No the Manga maker ( Kishi ) actually said something else :

1) It took 2 Jinchurikis & Itachi to take down Nagato
2) If his legs were healed , he would've dodged Totsuka
3) Kabuto being a noob , allowed Nagato's summons to be blinded

That's the reasons for his loss , which the manga clearly stated , which means Kishi said them,stop arguing against what Kishi said ( the above 3 are the reasons for his loss )

As for people saying he already died by Amaterasu , it's again Kabuto was listening to them talking about Koto Amatsukami , I mean Nagato could shinra tensei it the second he got burned with it , why burn yourself for too long , it's simple Kabuto .To prove it took long time for Kabuto to use shinra tensei , is Amaterasu burned Karin before Sasuke saved her , & her body was unharmed , while Nagato's was harmed , which means Kabuto left him burning for long time. until they finish talking

After last chapter , I say Nagato ( without using 6 paths of pain jutsu ) defeats Itachi

FireBall Jutsu > Preta Path or Shinra Tensei
Tsukyomi > Broken by the more advanced form of EMS ( the Rinnegan )
Amaterasu > Shinra Tensei or Preta Path
Susanoo > Use Bansho Tenin to pull user out ( in case of Itachi , use shinra Tensei at the same time with Bansho Tenin to push yata mirror & Totsuka away by Shinra Tensei then absorb the user at the same time by Bansho Tenin ) or just Chibaku Tensei both of them

Nagato overcomes Itachi's arsenal without the need of Asura - Human - Animal - Naraka paths.Not using the six paths of pain jutsu for 6 on 1 advantage.
Not to mention his strongest summon the Gedo Mazo.

N.B Nagato used Shinra Tensei & Bansho Tenin at the same time on chakra mode Naruto when he absorbed him by Bansho Tenin then threw a rock at him using shinra Tensei at the same time.

Since when have been vs threads argued by saying Itachi will win because he's intelligent or because he will create a new tactic . I have never said Nagato would win because he is a Rikudo , but I use facts & analyis them

Sure we haven´t seen any feats from nagato in terms of genjutsu but to break a tsukuyomi u need to have a mangekyou, sasuke broke it with a normal sharingan, danzou broke it and nagato has rinnegan.

It's not about having a rinnegan but having the uchiha bloodline, is Nagato an Uchiha? No, so that response is invalid.
