Itachi Vs Nagato [Misconception]

A lot of people have made the mistake to not include the 6 paths of pain in a 1v1 vs itachi because it is indeed one of nagato's rinnegan techs. 6 paths of pain alone beat itachi, If you include nagato himself then its overkill.

Deva path: almighty pull, Shinrai tensei

Asura path: robotic weaponry.

Human path: Reads mind by taking soul out, Also kills instantly ( Once soul is out)

Animal Path: Strong animal summons.

Preta path: Able to absorb infinite amount of chakra.

Naraka path: Able to restore other paths.

Nagato:

-Can use all paths

-Chibaku tensei

-Shinrai tensei

-All elements

-outer path

-Gedo mazou

If they fought, It would be very interesting and Nagato wins high diff.

Itachi has an advantage with GenJutsu, Izanami and Sword of tostuka.

This is not a 1v1, but merely clarifying a misconception that people tend to do.

Nagato has god-like powers and Uzumaki powers as well as mastered all basic elements which puts him over the top. Unfortunately, Kishi tends to give Itachi plot hack.

high diff? It took a free edo itachi, km naruto (admittedly not full strength) and Bee to defeat Nagato controlled by Kabuto. the difference in levels is immense, Nagato is easily a top 5 character. Pain would defeat Itachi mid-diff as well, if Naruto had to have almost full knowledge, 5 boss summons, no deva path for the majority of the fight, 15m of sm and going kyuubi to stop pain, plus pulling off a lot of great strategies which itachi wouldnt be able to do. 2 pains defeated kakashi, and the difference between kakashi and itachi at that stage was minimal at best. not to mention that itachi's greatest strength, genjutsu, is absolutely useless vs pain.

If you're referring to my statement, I'm saying that Itachi pulled Izanami out his butt while fighting Kabuto when no one knew what that was. That was pure plot.
