what??? itachi can beat minato? actually its really no contest at all. you see minato beat tobi. easily the gap between tobi and minato are too far. while itachi knowing tobi would become a threat to konoha didnt dare to kill tobi. if he is stronger than minato he would easily stomp tobi with his powerful technique more easy than minato if you think he is stronger. itachi wanted to kill tobi to prevent him from getting to his brother, but why in the hell did he put a amaterasu to activate when sasuke see's tobis sharingan to just caught tobi offguard why didnt he just tried to kill him when he is alive???if he really is stronger than minato he can do it easy. so i say no way he can beat minato if he is just around the level of tobi U_U

Raikage and minato fought many times, not just one, that was a fanservice, minato has nothing against the Raiton Armor. nothing to support that claim, until minato shows something else. Rasengan+harishim are not going to bypass that armor. the problem is that kishimoto threw an imcomplite character with a overborne tecnique that will make the trick.
Orochimaru is not the same as minato's plan, because orochimaru was an old grown up bastard capable of tricking anyone, not a new born baby or a 16 years old teenage that nothing will happened to him. A gamble..
i will kill myself and trust that my newborn baby, nothing will happen to him.
Like i said, minato is an unfinish character, just like harishama. kishimoto gave them hype and one jutsu. thats it. dumb people will buy that and wont question about it.. kishimoto himself does not know what to give to minato.
Like i said, orochimaru is supported by the databook and manga with feats and investigation, minato found out toby ability and that made him the smartest. lol
that is why, you cant count a guy just with assumptions and guessing, if he does not have feats enough to outshine the other. there was a red hair from a girl he liked and maybe was stalking, having loving dreams about her and those stuff we do when are in love.. believe if i see one inch of hair from my girlfriend. i will know is her hair. of course he would be the only one to find her.
Honestly for me Minato vs ITachi is like:
Solid Snake vs Liquid- Metal Gear Solid 4Hellsin vs alexander.
Messy vs Cristiano ronaldo
Light vs L
But since minato is a unfinish character i cant go with him.
Itachi wins this match.

Both were considered genius.Both had sealing jutsu. Both are kishis golden boys
Most arguments for minato say he would avoid eye contact.I think its harder than people think. Its natural when looking at someone to look at the eyes.When is the last time you been close to someone and not at least glanced at their eyes? Itachi could also use his finger to start genjutsu.If minato is caught in tsukiyomi its a done deal.Yata mirror reflects all attacks,rasengan wont penetrate.
On the flipside how does itachi hit minato? We have seen minato dodge the fastest attacks(When minato and a fought ,A super punch was literally an inch or two from his face)Does itachi have a jutsu fast enough to hit minato? i cant think of one. Could minato ftg inside susanoo? If he can thats huge.He can summon chief toad to break susanoo maybe. But as shown by sasuke vs 8 tails big targets are easy to hit with ametarasu. Man i have no clue who would win!

Puts Minato in a genjutsu then shows him how his son had suffered cause of him, then kills Minato afterwardsxd

erm from a fairly non bias viewpoint
Itachi wins if he can last long enough in Susnaoo to hit him or maybe get him in Genjustu

He was not talking about speed at that moment but about his general power. Also, Naruto never surpassed Minato in speed. He only surpassed Raikage. The only moment when he was close to Minatos speed was when he entered BM(Kakashis reaction) and even then nothing is faster than instant teleportation, so unless Naruto learns FTG or another instant teleportation, he will never surpass Minato in speed
