itachi vs minato (read before you flame)

i think itachi would win because he is better at taijutsu, he is smarter (even though minato is still pretty smart) and he has more ninjutsu's. but he would win with very high difficulty.

itachi haven't shown us any other jutsu ... he usually spams his sharingan.
all he can do is finger genjutsu or crows summons and fire jutsus.thats it.

if we talk about minato, minato still have a rasengan and toad summons

true but itachi can do clones and other jutsus without doing hand signs.

I have to agree with this. While Itachi has high accuracy due to his eyes if you remove those Minato would own his face since he still has a ton of speed even if he doesn't have FTG.

I mean he still would have his Shadow explosion, genjutsu, dusk clone, kunai, fire and water style
Minato has a small arsenal like Naruto
And Minato base speed is par with Itachi's

no kages just need to be trustworthy and able to defend the nation cause kakashi was going to become hokage but he does have over 1000 ninjutsus

Noo, and everything else that is unbolded are just assumptions, Minatos base speed is incredible and without sharingan most of itachis capabilities are gone. Its almost purely Taijutsu vs Taijutsu and on minatos side he still has a whole bunch of sealing techniques, he can summon toads and is possibly a sage, and rasengan (only known ninjutsu) while all itachi has is fireball and 1 or 2 mid level genjutsu

Technically, both have a 5 in speed for the databook. Without FTG, the speed and reflexes aren't there. It's hard to say, but with the summons I do believe Minato would take this, could be wrong.

WHAT THE FU**, Are we reading the same fu**ing manga or what, Minato was hailed as a genius that only came once in a generation so your first point is trash and breaking genjutsu is a basic shinobi skill. Hey man, get me that link because im pretty sure Itachi almost always if not always had his sharingan on and even so, you cant compare Naruto who had just learned the skill to the hokage Minato who had most likely mastered it
