its clear that your probably a fanboy of minato because itachi wasnt as strong as he is now around that time. as minato probably had his little ftg and rasengan.

Nagato stood there because he wanted itachi to seal him because he turned good just before he died and didn't want to hurt Naruto or Bee. Get a grip and stop your Rubbish talk.

besides itachi was boss at shurikan jutsu at a young age, I think on a small open field like the chunin stadium, minatos a sitting duck

minato was pretty good with the shuriken as well although probably not on itachis level

i agree itachi would have an advantege but minato is still faster and itachi cant really gaurd against rasengan i think they are both pretty even from birth to death

These are the two best ninjas in terms of only using the basic ninja skills and no hax skills.

It is hard to say. I think ultimately though that 3T is too much for a ninja without some sort of power up so Itachi takes this. But make it fair and have it be 2T and I might go the other way...

i agree its hard to say, and the two best at basic jutsu i also agree thats why they are at the top of my list lol, yes minato has shadow clones as well as shadow shuriken jutsu. and itachi has water clones

I don't recall minato having rasengan in his arsenal yet, I believe he created it when he was Jiraiya student which we don't know exactly when it was. I'd say Itachi honestly cause he had 3 tomoe sharingan, firestyle, genjutsu and intense taijutsu and shuriken skills. They were both prodigies but Itachi takes it.

Nobody and I mean nobody can prove that Itachi is that good during chuunin exam. It was on his 13th yr that he was able to get Oro via genjutsu. If he graduated at 7 then it means he's taking the chuunin exam at that same age. We can't assume that his skill at 7 or 8 is comparable to when he was 13. Minato on the other hand was able to defeat 3 jounin level who tried to kidnap Kushina and if I remember correctly, he was still on the academy that time.

i think the fact that he was a prodigy and regarded as the future of the uchiha before he left the villege makes it safe to assume he was always very skilled. and minato saved kushina after graduating from the academy

It was actually 13 ... We don't know how strong Either of them were at that age. Minato was able to save Kushina from Jounin level Ninja. I don't know what age he was but i'm sure it was during the time he was in the academy, which would of made him 10

im not sure who is smarter it could go both ways imo and same with stamina. but i agree anbu captain is more of a feat than the kushina rescue.
