Too many of you are referring to Madara's techniques during Edo Tensei. He had unlimited chakra, of course 30 wood clones would be possible, he probably could've made more.
i'm positive it'd be quite difficult for him to do that without Edo Tensei.
Further, many of you are underestimating Itachi's intellect. We've never seen him at full power of fight seriously. With the little that's been shown about him he's still badass
Not saying Itachi would win or that Madara wouldn't be a challenge though

Why did you necro this thread? Madara has ridiculous amounts of chakra on his own, and was weaker in his Edo Tensei form, so chakra isn't an issue. Madara's intellect outstrips Itachi's, so that isn't and advantage for Itachi either. Itachi would pose no challenge whatsoever. The likes of the Nine Bijuu, Sasuke, and Tobirama could not. What on earth could Itachi do?
