Itachi vs Kisame
Location:Only 6 pieces of land to stand on everywhere else is covered in water.
The water is 300 meters deep and is a few kilometers long.The pieces of land are about 5 meters long.Itachi and Kisame are standing on different pieces of land.35 feet away from each other.
Restrictions:No Sword of Totsuka for Itachi.But he still has Susanoo and Yata mirror.
Itachi has MS and is healthy.
Kisame has Samehada and can fuse with it.


I know this battle does seem really one-sided for Kisame but if it was in normal situation,then Itachi would win easily.

Considering they can walk on water why bother adding pieces of land? Anyway Itachi still takes this imo.

Beside for how one sided everything is for Kisame I would nornally give to Itachi although depends how big these land pieces are because susanno is rendered useless on water cause Kisame could hit it from under it. Itachi would probably need to amat him or genjutsu him to stand a chance. I would say a draw but conditions heavily favor Kisame.

Kisame is very effective in fighting requiring high power. According to Itachi, it is however not suited for missions requiring discretion, the appeal of this character for technical invoking tidal wave, tidal and other techniques involving a large amount of water explaining that: it has a propensity to use in his fights many chakra (including that of his opponent, stolen by Samehada), and create water bodies visible for miles.

People seem to forget that Itachi also uses suiton, now does he use it as efficiently as Kisame? No, but he could still use the water to his advantage.

If kisame was to bypass itachi's fighting style (genjutsu), itachi takes this with mid difficulty.
If he cannot bypass itachi's genjutsu, he'd get the same treatment oro and deidora got

I don't see how Itachi can win this.
Kisame can just drag the battle out by just keeping under water and keeping Itachi moving.
He has much better stamina and chakra levels than Itachi.
Samehada would keep taking up chakra and Susanoo is useless because Kisame can just attack from under.
Kisame wins with high-difficulty.

If Kisame is underwater then how is Itachi meant to pinpoint where he is and use Amaterasu. But because this is Itachi he has the ability to see through masses of water. :flaw: No i didn't think so
