Why the hell are you bringing up Naruto seeing Itachi's Crow Clones as an Illusion? That wasn't the consensus of the topic ANYWAY, you're completely swerving the subject. The consensus was that Crow Clones were animate, not mere illusions, the scan of Naruto seeing the illusive crow made from Itachi's clones was merely an example of Crow Clones dispersion. :lol:

We have a totally different perspective on how fast Kakashi's kamui is. For the moment the crow reaches enough distance to cast genjutsu at Kakashi, Itachi is already on the other dimension, not to mention, the crows can't completely block Kakashi's LoS so Kakashi never loses track of Itachi's body (If he gets a look of a leg or an arm it's still enough), ignoring any kind of diversion Itachi can make.

Visual blockage isn't usefull against a jutsu that only needs a small part of the body. Also, the crows casting genjutsu on Kakashi would require they actually geting in front of Kakashi's face to force visual contact before Kamui warps Itachi.

Not to mention, given the size of Kakashi's biggest warp, it's not crazy to think he can warp the crows along with Itachi as soon as they leave Itachi's body. They won't reach a safe distance on time given their slow flying speed. Kakashi can warp on a gedo mazo's arm diameter. The crows would get sucked in along with him.

Also, could you provide a link of Itachi using genjutsu via his crows?

In genjutsu, Itachi's chakra isn't pushing Sasuke's chakra. He's controlling the chakra inside someone's head. When you break genjutsu, you're not pushing the caster's chakra back, but disrupting your own chakra.
