there is no genjutsu which has chance working on Hagoromo confirmed by manga when he was telling about Kaguya, her using of IT and Hagoromo and Hamura didn't feeling to it, because how could they fight Juubi(her+ Shinjuu), if they were trapped.

Also Hagoromo has complete Mastery over Yin and Yang release which give him COAT if he combines them. Genjutsu comes from Yin release so Itachi has no chance.
