Only if Itachi can recognize the threat, the mirror is not sentient.
Why wouldn't he? If Sasuke was able to notice tiny mines beneath the ground [ ], Itachi can most definitely perceive massive tree branches coming up from the ground (let alone feel the vibrations in the ground), when he was capable of noticing Sasuke in the room without any eye contact and little to no sound. His perceptive skills are on point, and his Sharingan is unparalleled.

All true, but when in a battle where the opponenets are quick moving and requires your attention; Do you think Itachi's gaze will always be on the ground beneath him? If anything, having a mech-like Susano'o duel with Madara will cause him to be distracted enough for obito to use Mokuton or any technique and burrow underneath then kill Itachi

When in battle and no sounds are coming from the ground? Nah. But when in battle and the floor is shaking, I doubt he will ignore it, especially when completely protected by his Yata. And no, Totsuka blitz/Yata repels would shit.

>Implying Itachi is going to be able to react when it is too late.

Go back to school, kiddie.

How so?
-Juubito and Madara won't be in 10 meter radius of Itachi, so if Mokuton is in fact used, it is perceived through the vibrations in the ground. Once perceived, all he needs to do is have it cover the bottom of the Susano. Or are you implying they are going to do it in Totsuka stab range?
-Totsuka seals anything, but for the sake of argument, I'll go with a different and more lenient meaning so I don't have to hear your bíching, Willy; anything that has some form of life is sealed upon being pierced. Given that plants and trees have life, they still get sealed when Totsuka pierces them through the ground. Stop trying to make lord Itachi suffer a first defeat, because that will never happen.

Izanami teaches Madara to stop cheating death, and let the flow of time continue.

Izanami teaches Obito to accept reality as it is, instead of trying to create a world made of a lie.

Itachi can outlast with Yata, giving him enough time for Izanami.
