Maybe Hanzo because he took on the 3 Sannin at the same time almost effortlessly. Although I could see if Itachi won, so I go with Itachi with mid-high difficulty

its tough to judge hanzo. we know he fought the 3 sannin and did very wel, but then we saw him fight as an edo and lets face it, he wasnt that impressive.

Yeah, I feel like Itachi is just to superior for Hanzo so yeah. Hanzo did fight the sennin, but the sennin were pretty unexperienced back then and Hanzo must have been in his prime so yeah. I think the sennin were just regular jounin back then if im not mistakin (i could be wrong) and they got the name legendary sennin because they fought him.

everyone in the world knew hanzos name, and he fought prime nagato and survived. his fire style explosive tags will attack itachi from below so standing still and closing his eyes to go to MS is suicide. hanzo will never let up the assault. his chakra levels are huge and his salamander can burrow underground and come up where the opponent is while spitting poison gas. while that is happening hanzo goes in for taijutsu with his chain sickle and catches itachi in the throat.
