Itachi was programed to react to enemy jutsu, meaning dodge attacks , etc....

No

He didn't call it the Ultimate Genjutsu for nothing.. Tobi and kabuto weren't after it for nothing....Shishui didn't make it look he destroyed the eyes so people wouldn't fight for his body for nothing..... Kishi didn't put a 10 year limit then destroy both eyes from naruto world and not revive shishui for nothing...

You severely underestimate its power..

Actually itachi was commanded to protect konoha. I do realise that its because of the plot that made danzo use ka before his fight with Sasuke, but if ka is your answer for every vs thread that includes danzo then your decision is flawed because he hasn't used it in battle in the manga

Thats a order that has nothing to do with killing.... but he can then use that to kill itachi easily... There are hundreds of ways danzo can kill itachi using shishui's eye...

Danzo with KA can pretty much beat anybody 1v1 so this battle would go to Danzo.

lets not forget itachi has shisuis eye aswell.

Itachi's Koto is a trigger to his own MS... it is useless in this fight. Anyway, the command "Protect Konoha" wouldn't be of much use. Danzo has full control over his Koto, and can use it however he likes.
