Itachi vs clan

SO I was wondering, since itachi was able to destroy so many of his clan in there sleep/awake. How dangerous were they really. ITachi is a beast but he was one man. So my question is , how dangerous were they really?

Also is there anyone else that yall think could do the same.

But yes, they were dangerous. They were named the most powerful clan in history.

I do not believe anyone could do the same that Tobi and Itachi did; and too be honest, I think something else happened that night; either someone else was in on it, possibly ROOT, or something else happened.

However, I am sure that the one person that would have put up a fight against Itachi is Fugaku, he was, in fact, the leader of the Uchiha clan at the time. So I am sure something else happened.

i think it just caught most of them off guard. no one saw it coming and they werent prepared for a battle with one of the most powerful ninja around. as well, they may have just seen itachi in his anbu stuff and assumed he was going on a mission soon, then bam, he killed them. also, he was a genjutsu master....

well itachi was top teir of the uchihas at the time, maybve a small handful if that were stronger than him. That said remember, he was a member of anbu's root which means he was trained in silent black ops, so he would always kill them in a place where no one could hear it or he would hide the bodies, not to mention as stated above he was a genjutsu master, so a groggy half awake uchiha couldnt hope to defend against itachi, not to mention that they would see him and assume nothing was wrong since as far as we know there wasnt an alert put out, since if there was then they would all be awake and rallied.

Well ....why was all the uchiha at home ... shouldn't some of them have been on missions. Similarly to Goku , broli, raditz nappa vegeta, tutules all being gone when freza destroyed the planet.

Itachi is a beast, but he admitted to needing help against the clan, so somehow he'd lose individually.
