Only shuriken/kunai attacks and variations are allowed.

Location: Minato v Ay

Distance: 40 meters

Rules: FTG has a limit of 3 uses, can only be used with kunai marks. Itachi starts with MS activated.

Who wins?

Scenario 2: Each has intel on the other.

Scenario 3: No FTG.

Itachi has by far the best Shurikenjutsu feats in the manga. Minato's marked kunai aren't getting anywhere near Itachi before being knocked away by his very own.

Minato stomps in the first two scenarios. A limit of 3 Hiraishin uses doesn't really change anything since Itachi won't survive the first usage when he can only use Shurikenjutsu. Itachi wins the last scenario.

Itachi. After deflecting the kunia thrown, he'd be able to anticipate where Minato would appear. Also, he's shown the ability to throw shuriken as multiple targets/locations at once.

Minato wins with FTG, 3 uses is all it takes. second scenario is a toss up, I thought minato could use shadowshuriken jutsu which is classified as shuriken jutsu so if allowed he could murder stomp with that

Itachi should be able to deflect any of Minato's kunais away from him using his skill. How would Minato eventually put down Itachi?

Itachi might win.

Minato literally has no way of engaging Itachi with Hiraishin when Itachi's superior ninjutsu execution and Shurikenjutsu enables him to effortlessly deflect all of Minato's Kunai and predict Minato's warping attempts as a result. Of course, this is strictly going by feats because much like Itachi, Minato's also a percipient fighter, so I highly doubt someone of Minato's caliber would effortlessly be defeated by Itachi with mere shuriken.

Lmao Minato can throw more Kunai than Itachi can deflect at once, not to mention this only works from mid and long range. In close range it doesnt matter.

You'd have to be delusional to argue for Itachi in any scenario bar 3.

Finally, someone that actually understands the manga.

Itachi and Sasuke are #1 in shurikenjutsu

Never go full retard.

Please don't try to argue this match up. Minato has a string that lets him toss out 20+ Kunai at once. Itachi can't throw that many at a single time.

That scan above me isn't him throwing 20+ Shuriken at the same time, that's him and Sasuke tossing them at each other rapid fire. As in one batch after another. Never go full retard.

Like I said, you'd have to be completely delusional to argue that a Minato who can use Hiraishin even if it's only 3 times will lose to an Itachi who can only use Shuriken and Kunai. :lol Because being able to deflect Kunai is an automatic win in this scenario anyway. Lmao. You guys.

You're severely underestimating the gap in shurikenjutsu at play.

No, you are simply wanking Itachi's Shurikenjutsu prowess. That or you think cause the title says "Shuriken battle" that the one with the best Shurikenjutsu automatically wins ignoring all other factors. Saying "he deflects all Kunai so he wins" makes zero sense because that doesn't take into account the following:

-Minato can actually toss 20 Kunai AT ONCE. Itachi cannot toss that many Kunai at once, he can only toss Shuriken rapid fire like he did against Sasuke, and that's not AT ONCE. So one or two or three Kunai will reach him and then it's a wrap.

-Minato's Kunai are heavier than the normal Kunai. The ones Itachi deflects won't even go far (lmao we saw Itachi and Sasuke's Shuriken clash and fall straight to the ground in the middle of them). Minato can use one of his three warps to warp right to Kunai that have been halted and then toss them right back at Itachi, though that is a pointless strategy for the reason mentioned above.

-What does Itachi do if Minato engages him in close combat and then starts flicking Kunai around like he did to Ay? Oh wait, he dies low diff because Minato will teleport and blitz the living hell out of him. That is unless anyone thinks Itachi will actually land fatal hits or land any hits at all with thrown projectiles. :lol

Minato stomps as long as he has any amount of Hiraishin usages.

True I was reading through and thinking why are people acting like the fight ends based on who can take more kunai down lmfao.

Exactly what I'm thinking. :lol And it seems like people think Minato can only use Hiraishin to close the distance between them. :lol

Lol, what in the hell. First and foremost, Itachi has the Sharingan to foresee all muscle movement. That is a huge advantage to have, especially in a battle involving only Shurikenjutsu, and not things like Shunshin, Bunshins, other Jutsu.

Minato has been shown to his Kunai over a small distance, but that doesn't display any form of pinpoint accuracy. Especially considering they were, which is really just a waste of Kunai's. Itachi can easily throw 20 or so shuriken with a single arm [ ], added with his unmatched rapid fire Shurikenjutsu throwing at extremely quick successions [ ]... This is not even much of a contest. If you think FTG Kunai's are getting to Itachi, you're kidding yourself. Even without knowledge, Itachi will notice the sealing formulas on the Kunai's and speculate that it serves a purpose, so he wouldn't allow them to get near him.

Everything coming Itachi's way is getting deflected, meanwhile Minato doesn't have the feats suggesting he can keep up with Itachi in this category. Then we have the fact that Itachi can easily change the trajectory of his Kunai's, and doing so in order to nail two separate set of Rinnegan eyes in their blind spots.

The manga outright states that Itachi aims for his opponents blind spots. And two pair of synchronized eyes are obviously better then one. So with the capability to rapidly throw a ridiculous amount of projectiles and pressure Minato, Itachi will also be able predict his movement, as I previously mentioned. So in whatever direction Minato is about to attempt and dodge in, Itachi will already have Kunai coming his way, in his blind spots, with pin point accuracy.

The only thing having 3 FTG usages grants Minato is the ability to easily dodge anything 3 times. That is it. After those 3 usages, Itachi eventually nails him. Feats suggest Itachi stomps, but we have to consider that Minato is also a respectively skilled opponent. However, Itachi still inevitably wins.

THIS.

And using ftg would be his downfall given this scenario. It would allow Itachi to zone in on his possible whereabouts and counterattack. As Minato spans, he'd be vulnerable to a shuriken being thrown in his direction and if tries to use ftg to evade it, he'd still be hit given the feats shown in the manga.
