Itachi under KOTOAMATSUKAMI

Earlier in the manga,Itachi stored the crow inside Naruto were Shisui's Mangekyu Sharingan was designed to activate the genjutsu Kotoamatsumaki upon confronting Itachi's Mangekyu Sharingan. Itachi's intentions were to use this @ Sasuke which would give the order "PROTECT KONOHA". Instead it was prematurely activated byhimself after he was summoned thru Edo Tensei.
My questions are,did Kotoamatsumaki influence Itachi's final actions in the manga?
And would have he done everything differently?

edo tensei was forcing itachi to attack but koto amatsukami cancelled it.

Itachi just luckily met naruto ...
it was all plot no jutsu.

Yeah but the Naruto manga would have ended differently if they didn't.. If Itachi didn't meet Naruto or Bee while in Edo form.. the Kotoamatsukami would have activated on Sasuke.. Thus ending the awesome bout we're waiting for..


and i just read the latest manga.. mann I keep tearing up at the end.

Other than that, Kotoamatsukami bypassed edo tensei,placing Itachi under a genjutsu...
Or like what you said,"PLOT NO JUTSU"= genjutsu cancels edo tensei's command..T_T why not use genjutsu on all edo?

koto amatsukami is the best genjutsu.
and only shisui uchiha had it in his eye.

i think only KA can cancel effect of edo tensei.

Hmm, since Itachi WAS under a compulsion to save Konoha, doesn't that mean he was obligated to kill Sasuke, as long as Sasuke still intends to destroy the village?

I said the exact same thing, a few chapters back. Which either means its a plothole, or Itachi knows somehow that Sasuke wont destroy Konoha!
