Actually, never mind, Izanami does need physical sensation from you and the opponent. He said use your ocular powers to snap shot a record of any senses that both you and your opponent are feeling during that instant. Itachi did need to be stabbed again by Kabuto to replicate Izanami since that was the sensation they were both sharing.

Your explanation makes it look like he can record for example Sasuke picking up the same object twice and then put him in Izanami, but that isn't the case.

Disregard my last post. Sasuke still wins this. Izanami won't be activated.

Itachi's Intent was to make Tsukiyomi believable, not go full force. Sasuke likely wouldnt be able to break one with Killing intent.

Sasuke can and did break out of Tsukuyomi. And as Itachi said, only someone with his blood and Sharingan could break it. Sasuke has both and Tremendous skill so there is no reason why he cannot break it. There is no evidence that Itachi held back his Tsukuyomi or even that he can. If Itachi wanted to kill Sasuke, Totsuka blitz was an option. Sasuke had both plus skill so he did. How is he gonna set up Izanami exactly? It isn't the easiest thing to do especially against an opponent like Sasuke. Either way it is useless on his considering he knows how to break out of it.

I'm seeing a lot of post that have DB stats as the foundation of their argument.

Well I'm going to put my two cents in on that.

DB stats are very situational. Two characters with a 4.5 in speed are not necessarily equal in speed. We can see this in all it's glory in Sasuke vs. Deidara. This is because that the DB scores are base stats, meaning no Jutsu or Chakra enhancements. Taking that into account we can deduce that Sasuke put Deidara on the run because of his far superior skill in Shunshin, which the DB doesn't take account for.

Then there's the single stat comparison that people use. Saying that a person with a higher score in speed could blitz a character with a lower score. This is also untrue, you also have to take into account their Taijutsu rating. Like how Sasuke was essentially blitzing Haku when Haku had a much higher score in Speed.

Then there's intelligence. This is probably the only score that can be taken at face value. Intelligence can't be enhanced by chakra or a Jutsu. Meaning a person with a higher score is literally smarter than a person with a lower score. So when Itachi has a 5 in intelligence, there's no arguing with him being smarter than Sasuke's 3. Mind you the Databook ended at Sasuke vs. Itachi and Sasuke had time to improve, he definantly wouldn't be at a 5.

he just kept countering sasukes attacks thats all

had he done the thingy which he did at kakashi were he tortures by manipulating time sasuke would be dead ........
even if sasuke managed to break out of it .....he would already have suffered countless hours of mental anguish and torture .......
so theres no way on earth sasuke coul defeat itachi.........

That is correct. Anyone who believes otherwise, clearly has hogwash opinions concerning general slanting perceptions. Unhelpful in actuality of the concerned technique. Sasuke's goals have always been clear and Izanami wouldn't work on anyone who has a solid outlook on his life.

I must say that since Itachi's stamina levels are so low, I don't see him being beaten by Sasuke. Sasuke already broke through his Tsukuyomi, he can quell Amaterasu with his eyes, and I simply don't see Itachi taking him out. Sasuke would have trouble while Itachi has the Susanoo up, but since his stamina isn't exactly the greatest, I don't think he'd be able to hold it up for too long.

Sad that your trying to contradict the manga to get your izanami excuse across since we're going by his explanation of izanami didnt he say it couldnt be used in a 1on1 fights anyways also it needs contact sasuke is sure of hiself thats why he went to the ones who knew everything to clear this up

well read the manga again all itachi did in the genjutsu was avoid getting hit by sasukes attacks ...........

if he uses the genjutsu to torture sasuke -- even if sasuke manags to break out of it the very next second it was cast on him .......he would already have suffered countless hours of mental anguish and torture .......

which will leave him dead ....................

KA wont work on an ems user there sharingan is to high level KA was questionable to work on shisui himself someone with a higher dojutsu would see thru the illusion especially when the tho dojutsu is ems in 3 tomoe his sharingan was able to break the strongest visual genjutsu without a swet izanami also wont work sasuke wins this

izanami requires physical contact otherwise itachi would have taken an instance from a safe distance, thats why when sasuke asked itachi

Sasuke isn't immune to Izanami. Just as danzo put it, he throws his anger at anything and everything. He's tried to kill his former friends and teacher.

And he isn't immune to Itachi's Genjutsu. He can break it, but it's not like it doesn't affect him period. The manga also implies Itachi let him out of Tsukiyomi.
