Orochimaru is more overrated than Jiraiya....No matter what Orochimaru pulls out, there's no way he'd beat Itachi, even if Itachi was seriously ill.

Itachi easily takes this. He has the speed to dodge his maneuvres and, his shunshin is so fast for him to keep with. Genjutsu also, oneshots like in canon combat.

I still think like others that Itachi is simply stronger than even a Prime Orochimaru but even today people would still argue he was weaker due to Shiki Fujin taking his arms and arsenal away during the Hiruzen fight.

Despite Oro clearly stating that Itachi was stronger than he was which is when people try to refute that with the Snake Sannin losing his arms and being weakened at the time he said it, I think it's a mere coincidence and just Oro lamenting his failure to take his body and acknowledging Itachi's superiority in power as a result.
