Itachi Uchiha Deserves A Memorial Courtesy of the Leaf Village

I believe the Leaf Village should recognize the heroes of the village, especially Itachi. He was an outcast that was never recognized by no one in the village, except Naruto. So should they give a speech in regards to Itachi sacrificing himself to protect the Leaf Village and might i say, "the whole world?"

I hope that Kishimoto can make this happen in the plot. Itachi being accepted after death would put the whole idea that all Uchiha's are evil too rest, since the village still believes the Uchiha were nothing but a bunch of power hungry lunatics. If someone gives the speech about Itachi recognizing him as a hero... Who should it be?

I feel that Naruto and Sasuke are both good candidates. But Sasuke should get the long part of the speech, because he too went through hard trials since he is an origin of the Uchiha ancestry.

his deeds when protecting the village was a secret that is going to the grave to those who know. his deeds about defeating kabuto was only witnessed by sasuke and sasuke is a wanted criminal so no matter what he say will do anything.

it wont because remember what danzou said a true shinobi lives in the shadows or seomthing like that.... i mean minato and kushina deserves a memorial.. its all plot naruto should be recognized his parents are heros, and great shinobi but it wont happen
