lol i thought this would be an itachi wank thread so i rolled eyes as i was about to read it but it wasnt. itachi is great but he has his limits as any other character. nice thread bro

This is good work done but partially true. I only want to argue the power of itachi.

It is not known if he has to be in his final susano to use yata and totsuka because itachi only showed his susano in 3 battles, 1 vs sasuke, the next vs nagato in which he did use his v4 susano because the opponent was extreme high level and why take the risk of a lesser susano variant, and finally vs kabuto where he couldn't use totsuka because he couldn't kill or seal kabuto because he needed kabuto to undo the edo tensei so totsuka was out of the question.

Also, you say anyone who is faster can dodge totsuka true to some extent, but you forget other factors such as strategy and intellect which itachi has both in abundance. He can set someone up to be hit by totsuka.


As for only sasuke can counter tsukoyami no other shinobi has countered it, and it is much speculation as to how sasuke countered it, being itachi let him for obvious reasons or for what itachi said that siblings can counter each others tsukoyami. Most shinobi would fall to tsukoyami alone.

Also, perfect jinchuriki are not immune to genjutsu, as seen when sasuke placed killer bee under a genjutsu for a short period of time before the gyuki broke him out of it. That measn they are not immune but can be broken out of it rather quickly due to their bijuu's but even if a perfect jinchuriki gets freed from tsukoyami they still would be solo'd due to tsukoyami only needing mere seconds to destroy psyche's as seen how only 3 second put kakashi in the hospital for weeks. Killer bee would have suffered the same fate vs tsukoyami even if he was broken free because only seconds being in the genjutsu world manipulated by itachi is needing to do damage.



The truth about itachi is he has low stamin because of his illness and the physical strain the ms jutsu cause on the body but the other truth is he solo's because of this reason. Because he can't fight for very long he tends to end battles or confrontations rather quickly.


If you are not his sibling you lose to tsukoyami
If you are not top 10 fastest shinobi you lose to amaterasu
If you are not extremely fast and intelligent you lose to totsuka
If you are don't know yourself you lose to izanami
If you are sasuke you lose to kotoamtsukami



Almost every shinobi falls under one of those categories.

This was a great post. Agree 100%. Regarding Bee, it is also questionable whether the bijuu would have even helped him; Itachi's genjutsu is much more powerful than Sasuke's when he fought Bee. Like Madara, I bet he would be able to use genjutsu on a bijuu if he really wanted to. He wasn't even that kind of person though. U_U

I'm as well a big Itachi fan and have to thank Kishi for such a very well written character, but the trolls and overhyping is destroying all his fanbase. It's really not cool to see all this ridiculous threads about him or the ones from the haters.

I would like to point out some things.

Itachi's ''Tsukuyomi 1 shot'' might still be useful against Perfect Jinchuuriki, why?

It took Bee several seconds to be freed from Sasuke's genjutsu by the Hachibi, and Tsukuyomi has it's full effect in 3 seconds, paralyzing and demolishing the will of the victim.
So, it would be safe to say that Tsukuyomi could still work on them, however I still see some things which I do not know how to handle.

Such as, Tsukuyomi is said to demolish the victims will, so if someones was to have an iron heart and will, would they be able to fight?
And.... Kakashi was treated by Tsunade, so, like a Jin's characteristic, they should have an exceptional healing ability, would that make Tsukuyomi weaker against them?

And, there is more that I really don't know what to say to.
Genjutsu can be dispelled if there is a disturbance in the chakra flow, or if ones chakra control is good enough to dispel it.
So, how would Tsukuyomi work against someone who's constantly absorbing nature energy like Juugo or Kabuto, or Naruto in BM with a constant chakra flow with Kurama and even Sakura using her yin seal, would it effect them?

Now, on to something else.

Itachi's stamina is (IMO) underrated in this thread.
Why? Because Itachi only has problems with his stamina after using his MS techniques, but he is an exceptional fighter even without them.
I feel as if almost everyone on this website has to say someone has ''low stamina'' because you're simply comparing them to people like Naruto, Sasuke, Bee, Hashirama etc. etc. etc.

If you ask me, Itachi deserves at least a 3.5 for stamina, because as we all know using MS techniques without the EMS takes a heavier toll on you than anything else, especially if you are terminally ill.

Nevertheless, good thread, you clearly know Itachi inside and out.
