Itachi Uchiha, one of the most smartest, good hearted, skilled, loving, and respected characters in Naruto. In my opinion the most interesting Uchiha the series had to offer and never held a dull moment in the series. Itachi as a young boy was a prodigy himself, but to an even further extent his reasoning and his extensive knowledge was on par with that of a Kage only at the young age of 7.

He was able to stop the Uchiha coup d'état but unfortunately it wasn't resolved how he himself and his dear friend Shisui would have liked it to with peace and understanding, resulting in the massacre of his family and friends all to save the village that he stood for, only leaving his younger brother alive, he couldn't kill his only brother, as Itachi cried taking a last look at his brother knowing he will live throughout his adolescence hating him, without the love of his family, and a full understanding as to why he did what he did that night

He took the role of being branded a traitor to his family that he loved, he took the role of being branded a traitor to the Village that he served. All for the greater good for the shinobi world. Pushing his life into the darkness hoping that no one else will ever have to sink into the hatred and darkness he went through, he entrusted Naruto to help change Sasuke and to help Sasuke take on the hatred that has unfortunately consumed him..

The love he held for his family and his beloved little brother, the respect he held for his village, and the resolve of peace he always wanted was finally met. From his last goodbye to his only brother, to Naruto saving Sasuke from his darkness and helping him conquer the hatred within him, everything Itachi sacrificed for wasn't in vain. His brother finally able to understand that cooperation is the best tactic to achieve peace while giving him a niece that I'm sure he would've tapped on the forehead. The world restored, the Uchiha budding a new leaf that will inherit the will of fire that burns in Salada Uchiha as she's determined to become a Hokage like that of the Seventh. Thank you Itachi for providing the ultimate sacrifice for the ultimate peace.

Awesome thread man. He is the Lord of the Uchihas. He was a well developed Uchiha that didn't go emo or desire for revenge. One of NV's best characters.
