Since it's your first, you have a very long way to go. Honestly, this wasn't a good video at all. It sucked, but all firsts mostly do. Just work on trying to tell a story. There was no real story here. The music didn't gel with the video in any way, i.e. match to the beats/lyrics or help tell a story. Using multiple songs was just weird and didn't help in this case. Japanese songs can work, but didn't do anything for me. It actually turned me off since I had no idea what they were saying. In that case, you should use subtitles. However, try to not use subtitles in when editing an episode of Naruto for example. Removing them gives it a much better look. You don't need some A star video editing program to take care of subs. There are great free programs to use. The name of the video was just stupid in my opinion, but if that's what you like, keep it there.
Final words, practice a lot. Watch good videos to inspire you and try find your groove. Here are some examples of what I consider good videos in all spectrums, amvs and non-amvs.
