itachi was one of the worst most evil and sociopathic of them all so no he wasnt. he committed genocide on 40 000 people when he refsued to put a stop to akatsuki
So it stands that Itachi is the greatest Uchiha who ever lived he is like the Goku of Naruto, both over coming their races limits.
