Minato might have more stamina than itachi. However, he wont be able to blitz him. Itachi in his fight vs Sasuke was barely able to see Sasuke's face. Even after using amaterasu, and having one eye closed and being almost depleted of chakra he still managed to react to 1/1000th of a second. Now when i debate itachi vs minato i always get this "minato's ftg is instant" anybody taking low level physics will know that nothing in this world is instant. There are microseconds and even nanoseconds. Itachi in a near blind, near death state reacted to a microsecond attack. Some can argue that he didn't even see the attack coming due to his eye sight. Minato's ftg while fast requires undeniably more than a microsecond between him teleporting and hitting the opponent with it. Since minato can't teleport the rasengan directly inside his body. He always teleports it either above or to the side and then lauch it with force. Which shall be easily countered by v1 susanoo. Another thing i keep hearing about is itachi's chakra being too low. Itachi used a clone to follow naruto immediately before the match, that means he was fighting using 50% of his chakra only. How does itachi counter ftg? Simple. Amaterasu the battlefield. After Doing that, minato's chances of winning drops close to 0.

i agree stamina only plays on prolonged fights itachi knowing the fourths skill would start off trying to instantly take him out. Min has nothing in his arsenal that can stop him.

What if Minato lays his kunai and literally run from Itachi. Coming at mid range at random intervals (not to properly fight) but to initiate and force him into Susanoo. Itachi cannot just use Susanoo constantly and Minato will stand a better chance by playing the long long game.

well all the other kunai's are set on Amaterasu. So unless it's suicide minato won't teleport to any placed on the field. If he takes a kunai and run then all itachi has to do is wait down and sit. Minato would need to come close again to get the kunai he took close to itachi without touching Amaterasu to perform ftg. Let us just not forget that minato must do all this without staring at itachi's eyes. Which will be harder as he won't know his facial expressions. If we do it mathematically, 50% itachi did tsukoyomi,amaterasu(also controlled it) and did v3 or v4 susanoo for 2 mins. Then 100% itachi can do 2 tsukoyomi's, 2 amaterasu' and 4 minutes of v3-v4 susanoo. Add the tsukoyomi' chakra to his susanoo's usage. We can say he roughly can maintain it for 10 mins.and he needs is v1, provided it takes half the chakra for v3-v4 he can maintain for 20 mins. He only needs 5 seconds to block a rasengan.that means minato would need to do 240 rasengan's before depleting itachi out of his chakra. Which I highly doubt he has the chakra capacity.

You're overexaggerating his defensives a LOT.

And also the amateresu argument is a good one but is Itachi really going to zap fire onto a bunch of different kunai individually before Minato starts running? No he is not. When he gets going and spreading kunai the field is his. He could send one off into the distance if he wanted, where Itachi couldn't even see it.
