Compared to Sasuke on the other hand, a true pursuer of greatness wanted more than that measly title. Sasuke wanted to be Itachi, he wanted to become the "True Hokage" or aka Solo King.

So naruto wants to be acknowledged so he decides to become a hokage. But naruto can't be hokage until he is acknowledged?

Basically this line is an attempt to add depth and meaning to the most important plot point in the series (also give itachi some reason to be there and give more importance and depth to obito's character) but it created a pothole.

Naruto gets what he desired the hokage title to have without being hokage so why does he still become hokage? It should mean nothing to him according the context of the story.

do you even try to read the heavy dialogue or do you just skip to the fight scenes?

Sasuke didn't learn how to become hokage, he learned what it meant in being hokage through itachi thanks to hashirama's experience in the foundation of the leaf village. understand hashi made him understand itachi, something that sasuke had to figure out himself instead of having it dumbed down into one panel for derputo.

Endure = Protect kohona at all cost

itachi's intentions = hashirama's dream = the will of fire
