Itachi still wrong for what he did?

Itachi uchiha, is still wrong for sllaughtering his entire clan for the sake of his village. His clan, is his own flesh and blood. He had so much better option such as:
1.) Warning His Famliy and putting up a fight.
2.) well, actually thats it.... this is a small thing so dont get too much into it plz!

Well, Itachi didn't agree with the Clan's plan to take over Konoha in the first place. He's a pacifist at heart.
But the only reason why he agreed to get rid of the Uchiha clan was because that way, he could save his otouto and that was the reason why he accepted the mission. If he had refused the mission, Sasuke would have been killed and that was something Itachi wanted to avoid at all costs because he loves his brother.
