We saw Itachi lost his left eyesight after using Izanami... u know... he could still use Izanagi to reverse the fate of Edo Tensei release on himself by making it a dream.

If it would have been possible, Itachi could have done it in the beginning when Kabuto resurrected him. So IMO it is not possible.
