You should start reading the mange soon. He soloed Konan plus 3 pains first. Then when the 3 others came he soled one of them also, making 4 pains. Then he had the option to leave, and go home. But opted to stay and solve the pain secret. Sacrificing his life in the process, so Konoha could get the message. The message that ultimately saved the planet.

He soloed the animal pain the one he previously caught in sound genjutsu not one of the newer 3 pains. The rest of your post is fanfic after he tuned his back thinking he won Asura punched his arm off and the 3 newer pains along with the revived ones proceeded to rofl diff him he managed to kill the animal one and write a message before drowning
