To be capable of beating him, you'd almost have to have knowledge on him. Kakashi developed a counter for tsukuyomi, but that's only because Itachi didn't kill him with it the first time he used it on him.

But even if you manage to counter his genjutsu, he still has his ridiculous susanoo to rely on. Of which you cannot hit or defend against...unless you're Orochimaru and you have yourself stored in other bodies, but that's not really defending against..that's just escaping death from it.

What does that have to do with the fact that once you're in his genjutsu, even for a few seconds , you can be sealed by totsuka? and lets be real, only ninja in this manga that breaks genjtusu in a few secs is killer bee, and only due to his bijuu

It takes more than a few seconds for him to activate the Full Susanoo heck it takes even more to spawn the Totsuka. If he uses Tsukuyomi then the next thing is Itachi clutching his eyes in pain U_U

The entire process takes only a few seconds and doubles as a nigh impenetrable defense.

The ninja that can defeat Itachi before that happens are close to zero.

He's used Tsukuyomi 4 times in the manga...

An only when he was pretending to lose to Sasuke did he dramatically clutch his eye.

Twice, it didn't bother him at all. Once, he was fatigued (he cut his chakra in half with KB right before.)

I never said use Tsukyomi - I said his normal genjutsu

It takes literally a few seconds to make a full susanno, we've seen they are able to make up to this in a second or two easily, moments before the snakes got them

If you think any ninja is going to realize they are in a genjutsu then break the genjutsu, then dodge the incoming attack, in less than the 5-6 seconds it would take for itachi to activate susanno, or if he has it activated already , Pierce the opponent , then you're the one spewing bull****

Considering Orochimaru was cut off between words by the speed of the thrust

And Nagato was unable to react fast enough from it appearing thought the cloud of smoke to even use shinra tensei

Becuase it's one of the most hyped jutsu in the manga. (invincible, yada, yada.)

Combining genjutsu with it would be brutal.

I knew you would use EDO Itachi [Infinite chakra with no hurt feelings!]

I was talking about Alive Itachi so for him Susanoo is like the final attack I don't see him using Susanoo and then the genjutsu. Also Alive Itachi takes more time to do so as seen in vs Sasuke.

If you are talking about Itachi vs Fodders then there's nothing much to debate about, because I was more on the lines of Itachi vs Strong people.

The BS strategy that you speak won't work against Eternal Rivals, Jinchurikis, Kages or even Sannins!
