Itachi Speed Appreciation

With the exception of those who needed to go through an series of power ups to attain godlike speed, shouldn't Itachi be one of the fastest?

• He was fast enough to react to Kirin. Which is many times faster than the speed of sound (more than 120 i think).

• Despite both Naruto and Bee being able to intercept or dodge Ay's max speed attacks, they couldn't really land a proper hit on Itachi.

• Among Tobirama and Minato, Itachi is also able to do 2 things simultaneously. Like being able to throw kunais and at the same time weave seals.

Clearly it was stated as Sasuke being the fastest person, even when itachi was alive. This statement came in regards to non-ninjutsu formulated speed, but rather their basic feats. So...

Not really. Sasuke could've only watch and sit back as Sage Kabuto and Itachi went about. But I'm guess he's faster now being grown up and all.

I'm not sure if "dodging" Kirin is an accurate assessment. he didn't actually dodge it but pulled out Susanoo to block it. Even then he still sustained some damage (his clothes were in tatters after he erected Susanoo which they weren't before Kirin was shot off)

But other than that, sure I'd say he was pretty fast. His weaving of handseals seemed to be at Tobirama's level (once hailed the fastest shinobi alive)

but pure speed alone Im not so sure. Most of his dodge feats could be attributed to his precognitive abilities granted by the Sharingan and his agility rather than speed.

But I have no qualms about him being one of the fastest out there.

Few things.

Itachi had years of akatsuki xp & training instead of extra power ups.

He saw kirin being prepped and prepared defences accordingly.

Vs Edo Itachi & Nagato, Bee & Naruto were trying to have a conversation with them.

Kakashi's sharingan isn't capable of keeping up with a few things. (Forget the early example I had in mind for now)

Loads of people should be able to throw shit & do certain hand seals along with it.

Sorry to piss on your bonfire, m8. Itachi does solo though. Keeping up with Bee & kcm Naruto is no small feat. MS Sasuke gets whooped by those as proof.
