Itachi showing us the meaning of word NINJA

Its true.They showed us what it means to be a Ninja.
First example on Itachi.

1.Itachi killed his family,entire badass clan when the Hiruzen asked for.Hated by his village but he still loved it and he has been an Akatsuki spy.His brother is his only weakness.He didn't care for himself at all.He was only interested in his Village and Sasuke.I could kept going on and on.

I don't think Itachi slaughtered his clan on Hiruzen's orders.
It was because of the choice Danzo gave him.
It was all in all Itachi's decision to slaughter his clan after the choice he selected.
And hence he requested Hiruzen to look after Sasuke within the village.

There are different definitions of a true ninja in Naruto :| "An emotionless tool who only follows his orders", "The one that endures anything to achieve his goals", "The one who cares about his village/comrades above all else" etc. There isn't a single way to describe a true ninja, but I guess Itachi fits into Hashirama's definition the best.

real life ninjas were mercenaries hired to murder people for money. so no hes not showing us the meaning of what a ninja is. in naruto a ninja is whatever you decide it is. naruto has a different concept of what a ninja is to danzo for example.

thats exactly what it means to be selfish. he values his village because its HIS home. not because its a village full of civilians and kids. he values sasuke because hes HIS brother. that is a perfect definition of being selfish and monstrous. if your some random village of innocent orphans itachi will ignore you/sacrifice you for his own plans. he cared nothing for innocent lives as shown when he ordered sasuke to murder a konoha citizen in cold blood.
sakura is a hero because she will go out of her way to save even people she barely knows from rival villages. thats just who she is.

also im pretty sure brutally torturing and mindraping an innocent child shows your a selfless hero
