Itachi killed countless people in the name of peace.

He killed them in their sleep.

Sasuke looks up to his older brother as a hero.

Now Sasuke also thinks killing people in their sleep is a good thing.

Both situations can turn out for the better if done properly.

When Kishi had Hashirama call Itachi a much better Shinobi than he was, I think Kishi was alluding to something

Back in the day, in feudal Japan, Real shinobi specialized in attacking at night and killing people in their sleep.

Perhaps this was what Kishi refered to when using the term better Shinobi to describe Itachi

When you look at the grand scheme of things, Itachi is the reason why Sasuke is the person he is today.

itachi IS the reason sasuke is who he is... if it werent for him sasuke wouldve been like rtn sasuke but less of a playboy i think he would still be focused on surpassing itachi.

Itachi help protect Konoha but the price is that now Sasuke thinks killing people is the way to peace.

By setting the wrong example, he caused Sasuke to start turning into a murderous sociopath that is actually putting the world in danger by ignoring the current IT just to clash in a violent fight.

It's all on Itachi
