itachi`s power to naruto

I still wonder what power Itachi gave to Naruto before facing Sasuke...
Anyone have an idea...

yeah there are many threads already in the base.........well! there are my opinions

1. we know that genjutsu don't work on a host (who can control its bijuu) ,& amaterasu can be simply avoided by speed, so i don't think itachi gave any power or jutsu for dealing with sukuyomi & amaterasu, but still he mey have given some powers for penetrating ultimate defense susano.
2. my second thought is that itachi didn't gave any power at all, or he just gave something that will be helpful for naruto to take back sasuke from darkness like he may have sealed something in naruto which only sharingan can see my mean to say when sasuke will try to endulge naruto in genjutsu he will come to know about itachi, about what itachi truely was??
3. itachi new about madara's plan so might have given naruto a sealing type ability or something to to seal sasuke's powers or to seal jubbi. (last one is weired i know)

its probably something like the fourth hokages seal on the nine tails, i think when naruto and sasuke finally do meet for a fight it'll prevent him from casting genjutsu on him

I don't think it's going to be for countering genjutsu because of this:

I am betting that it is a pre-programmed thing, the same way that Amerterasu was programmed into Sasuke's eye. Maybe some flashback montage that will show Sasuke that Itachi and Naruto loved him all along.

I don't think it's going to be for countering genjutsu because of this:

It may be genjutsu...because when Naruto ran after gaara in the first episodes, ( fake ) Itachi cast a genjutsu on Naruto and I still don`t think Naruto is able to control the nine tail....:naruto:

Its probably the same powers that sasuke has to counter the MS I mean he may be able now to put out the amatarasu.

itachis' gift to naruto must be a

(1) self-activating genjutsu that would talk to sasuke and explain everything now that sasuke has got his MS, and/or
(2) an anti-MS jutsu vs sasuke and madara

since itachi knows that naruto is the kyuubi jinchuuriki so madara would ultimately want him for the gedo mazo collection of bijuus, as well as sasuke's best friend.

in other words, sasuke will benefit and further develop his MS when he captures and kills naruto by extracting the kyuubi from him.

and when all of that happens, madara will then kill sasuke and take his eyes. so madara will thus gain the true power of the sharingan being THE one Uchiha.

itachi does not like this.

we don't know if in that encounter the itachi we saw was the genuine one. presuming that, i think we we'll see a talk between him and naruto as the one that naruto had with his dad. it may be just a talk, it may also be some power transferring involved.

I was watching an amv from someone's sig from here. (Had the Placebo song "The Bitter End") And it was clips of Naruto and Itachi fighting, and had the part where Itachi was inside him confronting the Kyuubi.

Now my speculation is this. We know that with MS/EMS a person can control a Bijuu. Itachi told Naruto he hoped he would never have to use this power.

So I'm thinking that the power he gave to Naruto could possibly be the ability to control the Kyuubi within him to the same extent that Killer Bee does. That way as Itachi's drawback, should the trap in Sasuke's eyes not work, there is still a chance at defeating Madara.

The power Itachi gave naruto (through the crows flying into his mouth) is prally either a temporary ability to control Kyuubi or a temporary counter to the Sharingan.

Itachi hoped that Naruto would not need to use 'whatever he gave him.' WHY?

Because IT will kill Sasuke. The context of the conversation was about making the hard decisions life imposes on us, and in particular, about sacrificing yourself/someone for the sake of peace. In other words, the hard choice was between Sasuke and Konoha.

i was thinking of along the line of an ultimate antidote to the almighty MS.

when sasuke becomes 'unstoppably berserk' naruto can pull his plug and snuff out the sordid life from out of him.
