Prime Hiruzen power is legendary.
He can beat Itachi. He counters any of Itachi's genjutsu since even Danzo who had KA admitted inferiority to Hiruzen, plus he can use his heightened senses to not look at his eyes. Remember he used the smell to catch the Hokages.
As for Amaterastu a simple Subsition solos. Hanzo was able to use a simple jutsu to escape Gedo Mazo dragons. So it can work. Or enma cage protects him.
He breaks through Susano like a bullet with his staff since he was able to push back Kyuubi when he was even't at his prime. Susano gets broken with his prime strength.
