Pain doesn't just share vision, they share sounds as well [nagato could hear through the paths]. Even with this, only one path was caught in a sound genjutsu, which is more powerful than sharingan genjutsu.

Therefore only one path can get caught at a time, & Itachi would have to cast genjutsu 6 times in order to trap nagato.

Never said it wasn't, but if sound genjutsu is only able to trap paths who directly hear the song then tsukuyomi isnt going to be different.
