Yeah his powers are incredible indeed, but yet we have others with more powers. Imo Itachi is one of the most capable Ninjas in view of his skills and intelligence, but there are some people who are stronger.
This. Itachi is powerful but there are 5 or more people stronger than him. Nagato, tobi, edo madara (kabuto), naruto, hashirama and infact sm kabuto are all stronger than him.
What makes itachi one of the most fearsome opponents imo isnt really his ninjutsu's, but rathe his fighting style. Due to his dojutsu ability or should i say tsukuyomi without any knowledge you can get beaten with sharingan genjutsu, ask oro and deidora. Without knowledge Tsukuyomi will end you. Now not alot of ninja's can fight at 100% without maintaining eye contact because they havent done this before, therefore even if they had knowledge of itachi's doujutsu abilities fighting and not looking at your opponents face is bvery hard as noted by sakura. In that state you have already putten yourself at a disadvantage because you are fighting one of the strongest characters and trying to avoid eye contact, something you have never done before.
However people like gai claim to know how to do this, but that doesnt work on itachi. Looking at his feat you cannot see his eyes, he can hit you with amaterasu. Looking at his feet you cannot see his hand movement therefore he can be very unpredictable although not even sharingan users are able to follow his handpseed therefore that is out of the question. The next thing is that he doesnt even need his sharingan to use genjutsu therefoe even if you avoid his sharingan he can still put you in one there is no two ways about it. There are however people like sm kabuto for example who because of his enhancements and sm ability can avoid eye contact and still fight at 100%, apart from him nobody else has shown us this. Its a fact that if you try something you have never done before in battle against somebody like itachi you will surely lose.
There there is his weapon usage and when i say this im not even talking about his legendary weapons. Im talking about his shurkenjutsu feats, he the most impressive kunai and shuriken throwing feat in the manga. He holds the fastest handspeed feat in the manga. He holds one of the best intelligence feats in the manga, both in and out of battle. His speed and reaction time isnt bad either
Kishi has done thing to itachi so much so that he is in the top3 most complete characters in the series and this is why. First, he is an elite group of ninja's that can use all 3 forms of ninja art. Secondly his so called low stamina people might think its a weakness but it isnt. Firstly i see no reason why his younger brother has a higher charka level than him, apart from the fact that it has to be his illness, but chakra alone isnt his weakness, kishi has covered all of itachi's weakness it isnt even funny. Due to his exceptional chakra control, able to keep the sharingan activate outside of battle and genjutsu, he uses ninjutsu's with minimum chakra drainage and an example is karasu bunshin where he uses crows as a medium therefore it doesnt cost that much chakra. Due to his fighting style he likes to finish fights quick therefore chakra doesnt play a part. The reason i say this is because although he might have average chakra, he has the intelligence and know hows to outmanoeuvre the strongest of opponents and land any one of his op techniques effectively winning him the fight.
The second weakness that kishi has given itachi that kishi has then to some extent erase is his genjutsu ability and ive touched upon that already. The fact that even without eye contact he can catch you in one makes the whole avoiding eye contact futile. Secondly he has a new genjutsu that doesnt even take into consideration your 5 senses.
I can go and on, but although there are people stronger than him, he is still an overpowered mofo
