Also those who think that Itachi is smarter than Obito are wrong. Itachi never found out that Tobi was Obito and not Madara U_U Obito however knew everything about Itachi. Further Obito managed to fool entire NV into a war, he easily manipulated Nagato, Sasuke and the akatsuki. Even Madara acknowledged Obito's smarts and his plans U_U

Yeah they both planned out some crazy stuff years in advance, Tobi was probably overall smarter but I think Itachi can think quicker in the heat of battle.
