I have to agree with the guys above kaguya

Kaguya can close her eyes and still se Medusa because Byakugan can look through walls (and thus, eyelids) So she doesn't have to actually see Medusa's face.

Other than stone turning powers, Medusa doesn't have much else going for her, no super strength. Kaguya summons her susanoo (we know she has one because her eye has every jutsu possible) and ROFLSTOMPS Medusa.
