You need to realise, itachi can Use His own Sharingan Better than Sasuke can.

He took Itachi's Power yes, But he Lacks the skills Needed to use it on Itachi's Level

why itachi have to use tsukyomi on sasuke while sasuke have to use normal genjutsu to break each other out of sound genjutsu?

Itachi is the best in terms of genjutsu and small projectile weapons use (normal shuriken and kunai). Sasuke is similarly skilled with ninjutsu as well as wires and fuhma shuriken. Sasuke will never be as good as his brother in genjutsu, just as Itachi can't match Sasuke in ninjutsu.
