Read and watch the Gokage Summit ark and youll change your mind about "Sasuke didn't spam it like a moron" :l And relatively compared to every other major Uchiha Itachi didn't use his Mangekyo for everything... He has used it only in times when it was absolutely crucial... And if the Itachi vs. Sasuke fight were actually a serious fight and if Itachi did really want to win... And if Itachi had no fatal disease Itachi would have destroyed Sasuke...
